MagicINFO Lite is a proprietary Content Management System (CMS) designed specifically for Samsung Smart Signage hardware. Unlike advanced digital signage software that requires external media players (such as PCs or Android boxes), MagicINFO Lite is embedded as a system-on-chip (SoC) player directly inside the screen. : Displaying "Welcome" messages or company announcements.
The technology leverages a display's built-in System on a Chip (SoC) media player, eliminating the need for any additional external media player hardware. This not only keeps costs down but also simplifies the installation and maintenance of a digital signage network.
Don't worry about converting files for hours. MagicINFO Lite natively supports: MP4, AVI, MKV. Images: JPG, PNG, GIF. Before you begin, ensure you have the following:
Plays Full HD videos, high-resolution images, PowerPoint files, flash animations, and audio.
The most significant feature is the absence of server requirements. You can create a playlist on your PC, copy it to a USB drive, plug it into the back of the Samsung display, and set it to "Auto Play." Alternatively, you can connect the display to your local network and push files from the MagicInfo PC Authoring Tool directly to the screen.
Click "Export to Device" and select "USB." The tool will format the drive correctly (make sure it is FAT32 or NTFS). Insert the USB into the Samsung display’s "MagicInfo" USB port (often white or marked differently than the standard service port).
In this mode, no network connection or server installation is required. You organize your media files on a local computer, load them onto a standard USB flash drive, and plug the drive into the Samsung display. Using the display’s on-screen menu and remote control, you can copy the files to the internal memory and set up basic playback schedules. This mode is perfect for single-screen setups like menu boards or retail storefronts. 2. Network Mode (Server-Based Management)
